GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF VALUATION

These terms and conditions apply to all Valuation services that Autobahn Automobiles, CR No. 166712 (“Autobahn”) performs or provides to its clients (“you, your”) whether on the website or mobile application.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.

1. BACKGROUND AND INTERPRETATION

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, express or implied.
1.2 In these General Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall be interpreted as follows:

1. Assumption: In valuing your vehicle and preparing the appraisal, we have made the following assumptions:
- Your vehicle is not an import vehicle, and if it is, it must be declared.
- Your vehicle has not been written off by an insurance company or suffered major accident damage.

-Your vehicle does not have a special license plate, if so, you must pay the cost and process of changing.

- Your vehicle has 2 (two) sets of working keys, if not, you must provide them, or they will be deducted from the final amount.

- You can provide a complete service history of your vehicle if the vehicle is under warranty with the manufacturer.

- The paint on your vehicle matches the original factory paint. You will be able to provide a police report if the vehicle needs repainting.

- Your vehicle has at least 3 (three) months of registration and validity and insurance validity remaining

2. Valuation: the initial valuation we provide to you and the price we offer to pay you in return for your Vehicle is based on the information you provided to us (in addition to the Assumptions) as part of the Valuation Process.

2.1. Vehicle Documentation: 2 (two) sets of working keys, any service history documentation, Registration card copy, Insurance policy copy, Owners QID, manuals, and any other documentation you have in relation to the Vehicle.

THE VALUATION AND PRICE

Valuation Reports will be based on: (a) information and data generally available at the date of valuation; and (b) the information you provide Autobahn about the vehicle and will not reflect future values or predictions.

Any incorrect or misleading information you provide to us, or any assumptions that are incorrect, will result in an inaccurate evaluation that will be considered invalid and withdrawn by us. If the assumptions are incorrect, you must tell us as soon as possible and/or as requested by us.

The Valuation shall be valid for a period of (24 hours) and a maximum of 100 km from the date we send have provided the Valuation Report, after which you will be required to complete the Valuation Process again.

The Valuation is provided strictly on a contractual basis, and we have the absolute right to withdraw the Valuation at any time without legal consequence or liability to you. The valuation does not constitute an offer by us to purchase the vehicle.

We accept no liability whatsoever for any Valuation provided which may include any unintentional/typographical mistakes or errors on our part or by any systems failure. If a mistake has been made, please notify us as soon as possible so that the mistake can be corrected and (where necessary) a revised Valuation will be provided.

VEHICLE INSPECTION

The Vehicle may undergo an extensive examination and road test at our discretion. This examination will be undertaken by a fully qualified mechanic of our choice and at a place and date as determined by us.

We reserve the right to withdraw the valuation if a defect(s) is found during the valuation/inspection or comprehensive inspection.

Declaration:

You (Confirmed) that the Vehicle's mileage is accurate.

You (Confirmed) that you have fully disclosed the following information:
(i) any physical defects in the Vehicle of which we wish to be informed, mechanically unsound or inoperable, unroadworthy, and/or chassis damage.

(ii) any problems (potential or actual) related to ownership of the Vehicle.

BASIS OF CONTRACT

No binding contract will be created between us and you until the following conditions have been met:

1.       You have received a Final Valuation from us confirming the purchase price we intend to pay you in relation to your Vehicle.    

 VEHICLE TRANSFER

If a price is agreed for your vehicle, monies will be transferred directly to your bank account once we are we have proof of vehicle ownership transferred to Autobahn, at this point, the car becomes the property of Autobahn Qatar.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

6.1 All payments made by us are made by bank transfer/ Cheque. However, we reserve the right to make payments by other methods if we deem it appropriate.

6.2 Bank transfers are subject to banking system of which we have no control. In any case, we will do our best to process the payment as quickly as possible, bearing in mind that transferring to another bank will require bank clearance of 24 hours.

6.3 Payment to you will only be made using the payment information/bank details you provide to us following your acceptance of the final valuation. We will only make payment to Third party if we are satisfied that we have received sufficient confirmation/proof that you are the rightful owner of the Vehicle.

DISPUTES

Autobahn has in place complaint handling procedure which meets the regulatory requirements. You have the right to lodge your complaint to autobahnteam@autobahn-qatar.com.

ACCEPTANCE

The use of this website and mobile application, confirms your acceptance to the Autobahn’s Terms and Conditions.
